You Need A Skin Consultation

Not sure whether medical-grade skincare is for you? We are.

Medical-grade skincare is for anyone and everyone. Have you tried all the different face washes, serums, moisturizers, facials, masks, or peels? Or do you suffer from acne or regular breakouts? Maybe your skin just has a lot of redness, or your pores are larger than you'd like, or you're interested in anti-aging skincare.

In any case, we find that everyone benefits from medical-grade skincare. The ingredients are stronger and directed towards specific skin goals.

It can be hard to know what products are right for you when you're presented with aisles full of different brands that offer hundreds of cleansers, serums, exfoliants, and moisturizers! A consultant removes all the guess-work from your skincare routine, and helps you avoid buying products that you don't need.

1: We've partnered with dermatologists to offer the most effective products possible.

Medical-grade skincare has concentrated ingredients so that you're not paying a lot of money for a product that is 80% water. It also uses ingredients tested by dermatologists to produce the best results and be suitable for as many people as possible.

2: We stay updated on changes and developments with skincare, so you don't have to.

If you've ever had a regular skincare product change formula on you, you know how annoying it is! We make sure that we're always updated on product changes. We are also always learning about the newest technologies and advancements in skincare so that we can provide state-of-the-art care.

3: We do extremely thorough research on all the products we recommend.

We don't just partner with whatever skincare companies reach out to us. We do our own research to make sure that products align with our clients' needs. We will never recommend a product to a client if we haven't seen proof of positive results.

The Consultation Process

When you schedule your first consultation, we get all the information that we need to start building your regimen from scratch. Before your consultation, we'll ask you to send us a picture with all of the skincare products you're currently using. This will help us better understand what your biggest skin concerns are, what you've tried, and how those products have worked for you.

When you come in for your appointment, you'll watch a video that goes over the basics of medical-grade skincare so that you have a better understanding of what to expect. Then our consultant will go through a questionnaire with you to get a better idea of your wants and needs with your skin, as well as any additional history that would be helpful for our process.

Medical grade skin care is constantly being researched and tested to ensure customers get proper treatments. These products have higher amounts of active ingredients therefore are more effective in treating your problem areas. Medical grade products are made to penetrate deeper into the layers of your skin, whereas traditional products are only made to treat surface problems.

No. It completely depends on your skin. Our AS consultants are experienced and will customize your regimen of medical grade skincare based on what your skin needs. We carry the best of several medical skin care brands in order to deliver the most effective results.

Medical grade skincare products are not available over the counter. These products can only be sold in dermatologist offices or esthetician run spas. These professionals are able to advise the user for the best results. We require consultations for these products because we want to make sure you are getting the best possible care. During our consultations we evaluate skin composition, occupation, diet, age, and previous topical medications used to treat skin concerns. All of these factors can affect how your skin interacts with the products in our catalog.

The MD skincare system is specially formulated with highly concentrated active ingredients to help your skin. If you try mixing your old products with our MD products the effects will not be the same and you will not see the improvements. Your consultant will not be able to properly track your product dosage. When you have a problem with your skin, it is harder to determine the cause when you introduce a product outside of the regimen your consultant provides to you.

In order for a medical skincare regimen to work, we need to create a long-term, client relationship to analyze the skin through the process. After using the new products for a while, we can analyze how the skin is reacting to the products and adjust dosages where we see fit. Even with higher levels of ingredients in their more pure forms clients will see immediate results after 2 weeks, and long lasting results after 3 months.

Our estheticians attend skincare conventions for medical-grade skincare companies every year to narrow down only the best brands to partner with. We hand-pick the best products for each client based on information discovered during consultations and checkups.
